2004 Low Cost Vaccinations/Dog Licensing Clinic Schedule


One Stop Shopping! Stop by one of our low cost vaccination clinics. The cost of a rabies vaccination will be $6.00. Canine and feline vaccinations are available at a reduced price. For your convenience, you may purchase a 2006/2007 Mono County dog license at any one of the clinics as well as by mail. To expedite the licensing time please bring last year's white license receipt (if applicable).

Intact Dog License Fee: $20.00 Altered Dog License Fee: $10.00 (Certificate Required)


Mammoth Lakes and Inyo County residents are welcome to take advantage of the low cost vaccinations but are reminded to purchase dog licenses in their own jurisdiction.

For the protection of your cat, family, and community, we recommend that ALL cats be given a rabies vaccination as well as annual boosters. Dogs MUST have a current rabies vaccination prior to licensing. Annual canine boosters are highly recommended.

Note: We follow an exact schedule in order to arrive at each clinic in a timely manner. In order to be served, we ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to clinic closing.

Note: Dogs MUST be on a leash or left in your vehicle. Cats MUST be restrained in a carrier or remain in your vehicle.

  • Title 17-Ca. Code of Regulations 2696.04Officially Declared Rabies Areas. This regulations states that agencies with fixed one year licensing programs cannot license a dog if a three year rabies vaccination expires before the expiration of the current license. If your dogs' rabies vaccination falls in this category, please have your dog re-vaccinated prior to licensing.


  • Health and Safety Code 1920 (b). Mono County Code 9.20.010 - All dogs over the age of 4 months shall be vaccinated for rabies at prescribed intervals. (This includes all yard, lap, house, cattle/ranch, and commercially kenneled dogs.)


  • Health and Safety Code 1920 (a). Mono County Code 9.12.060 - All dogs over the age of 4 months shall have and wear a current Mono County dog license.


A $20.00 Late Fee Will Be Charged To Each License Received After June 30th

Paying by check at the clinic? Two checks will be required - One for the veterinarian and One for the Mono County dog licenses.
