The Animal Control offers a "Share of Cost" Spay and Neuter Program. There is no income eligibility requirement. The program is limited to money available and to Mono County residents only.

A voucher is issued to a participant for normal and routine spay and neuter procedures. The voucher is valid for 30 days and will not be issued after the services have been performed or without prior approval from he program manager. the participant will be asked to pay their "share of cost" as well as for any additional services ie vaccinations at the time of the appointment. animal Control will be billed the balance of your animal's surgery.
