Infectious Diseases
There are several diseases that our community needs to be aware of. Some are endemic to our county and others are unlikely but serious. These include, Hantavirus, high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE), Plague, Relapsing Fever, SARS, and West Nile Virus,

If you or anyone you know has any of these diseases and they are in Mono County, please contact the Health Department in Mammoth Lakes at (760) 924-1830 or in Bridgeport (760) 932-5580 right away as they could be life threatening.
