Seasonal Influenza and H1N1

As of Friday, October 30, 2009, the Mono County Health Department has received a limited supply of H1N1 vaccine.  If you are a parent, caregiver or live with a child less than six months old, please contact the Health Department at (either the north number or south number) to schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine.  Because children less than six months of age cannot receive the vaccine building a protective shield around them is very important.  Pregnant women should contact their care provider to inquire about receiving the vaccine.
