Public Health
The Mono County Public Health Department is dedicated to the health and welfare of the citizens of Mono County. We provide services in Maternal Child Health Programs such as the: Perinatal Outreach and Education Program, Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program, WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) Low Cost Infant/Child Car Seat Program, Bicycle Safety Program, and The Violence Prevention Task Force.
We also provide the Children's Medical Services including: Child Health and Disability Prevention Program (CHDP), California Children's Services (CCS), Genetically Handicapped Person Program (GHPP), Foster Care Nurse (HCPCFC), and the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program.
The Public Health Department also provides programs such as: Communicable Diseases Surveillance, Immunization Outreach, HIV/AIDS Program, and the Tobacco Education and Cessation Program.
