Public Health:
Perinatal Outreach and Education Program

This program's goal is to assure early and continuous prenatal care for all pregnant women. Education programs and referrals to other care providers are available.

Pregnancy tests are done on a walk in basis at the Mammoth Health Department Office but clients are encouraged to call to make sure a nurse is available. Clients in outlying areas can call the Mammoth office (760) 924-1830 or Bridgeport office (760) 932-5580 to schedule an appointment. Clients may call these numbers collect.

Pregnant women are assisted in scheduling their prenatal appointments and prenatal vitamins are available.

Entry into Family Planning Services is available for income eligible men and women. Clients watch a 10 minutes video and are given paperwork for their appointment at a Sierra Park Clinic. Please call for appointment in Mammoth (760)924-1830 or outlying areas (760) 932-5880.
