About The Directory

The Mono County Community Resource Directory is intended to guide Mono county residents and agencies to needed human services. It includes agencies and services based in Mono county and those services in Inyo county which serve Mono county residents.

Mono County's first Resource Directory was created in 1994 by Katharine Allen of Mono County Alcohol and Drug programs. It was updated in 1997 by Gayle Slade of the Mono County Tobacco Education Program. The previous version is a product of the Mono County Tobacco Education Program and Partners in Community Wellness for Mono County. This version was updated in March of 2006 by the Department of Social Services.

Funding for this directory was provided by, Mono County Tobacco Education Program and the department of Social Services.

Routine editorial revisions are made by Mono county staff, however, programs contained herein are not evaluated.
