WIC offices are open during the federal government shutdown. WIC continues to serve and enroll families. Families should continue to use their WIC benefits and attend their WIC appointments.

About WIC
What is WIC? WIC provides free healthy foods [5], breastfeeding support, nutrition education and referrals to services to support you and your family. |
Who Can Apply? If you are pregnant, recently had a baby, care for a child under age 5, or have experienced a recent pregnancy loss, you may qualify for WIC. |
Am I eligible? You may qualify if you have low-to-medium income [6], receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, or CalFresh. |
